I am very pleased to announce that the Call for Sessions for the Landscape Archaeology Conference 2016 is now open. The session proposals can be submitted to LAC2016 at arkeologi.uu.se<mailto:LAC2016 at arkeologi.uu.se>

Building on the tradition of the previous Landscape Archaeology Conferences held in Amsterdam (2010), Berlin (2012) and Rome (2014), LAC 2016 aims to provide a platform for archaeologists, human and physical geographers, anthropologists, earth scientists and researchers from cognate disciplines to present and discuss results, methods and theories around the broad fields of landscape research and historical ecology.



The conference will be hosted by the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Uppsala University, and aspires to cross conventional divides between nature and culture, mind and matter, and to bring together perspectives on landscapes past and present from the humanities and social and environmental sciences.



A call for sessions is attached to this email. Please also circulate it to your colleagues and in your department

• 1st December 2015: Deadline for session proposals • 8th January 2016: Notification of acceptance of sessions



• 1st April 2016: Deadline for paper & poster proposals • 15th April 2016: Notification of paper acceptance



• 15th June 2016: Deadline for early registration • 1st August 2016: Deadline for registration



• Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th August 2016: LAC 2016 conference (incl.
late registration)
